The product is a web 3.0 gaming platform that combines elements of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and immersive gameplay to create a unique gaming experience. Players enter a virtual world where they can explore, battle monsters, complete quests, and interact with other players in real time.
The Client had already developed an MVP of a Web 3.0 gaming platform, which showed positive results and attracted investor attention. Further project development was needed. Our task was to integrate Ethereum blockchain technology to enable ownership of in-game assets, develop an economic model, create game levels, and generate art objects, game characters, and new landscapes.
Architecture Development: We began by conducting a comprehensive analysis of the existing MVP and engaging in discussions regarding necessary actions. Following the Client’s requirements, we developed an architecture for additional features, presented a list of experts required for platform development, segmented the scope of work into milestones, and calculated project costs and time necessary to complete each milestone.
Conclusion: As a result, we enhanced the Client’s Web 3.0 gaming platform by integrating the Ethereum blockchain. This integration provides players with the ability to buy, sell, and trade digital gaming items as NFTs. We developed a player economy based on decentralized finance technologies, allowing players to earn rewards in the form of cryptocurrency. Our immersive 2D art for the new levels was developed in the proper style and according to the strict requirements of the Client’s Art Director. Overall, the platform’s promising performance has garnered further investments, fueling its growth.
